Wow, you are gorgeous. I love the casual groggy sort of pose- with the fallen strap and messed up hair. It really makes it look way cool. The photo looks very professional- like it should be in a magazine or whatever. It really struck me when I was just browsing through the images on this site. The pink of your cami really stands out with the black of the background, not to mention your eyes (wow, I wish I had your them!). Cool pic!

I personally hate the fact that you had to get a daily deviation to have this piece noticed at its full potentional, it is rather incredible and very deserving of the DD, but I know with me, and I've never had a DD that it would be much more gratifying to have you work praised by tons of individuals without actually having one great eye notice it to get it seen, it seems a little bit, eh, I dont know what word I'm looking for but maybe you understand, this is truly a great piece, and you should be truly proud of yourself and your work, and congratulations on the daily deviation. <3

thankyou so much for your comments and i know what you mean. I see so much talent on here and some of it hardly gets recognition but it's the way of the world. It's as much promotion, luck and hard work as talent. Look at madonna, not the greatest of singers but increadibly succesful cause of how hard she worked and the promotion she got.

I really like the expression and the lighting. Very very good job. Nicely strengthening your beauty and emotions.
However, I have to say that the burning is absolutely shocking. This is especially evident around the right shoulder area. I think such a beautiful portrait deserves better processing. It looks like it's been rushed to me

Practice makes nearly perfect
Quite pretty- the subtle light and delicate color is well done. On my monitor, however, it appears that there is a section of the background which you didn't burn in well enough- a camel/carmel color comes through right above your shoulder and below the strands of your hair, and does not seem purposeful. Congrats on DD, and keep "practicing"!
