Description
In honor of Star Wars Day, I have decided to do a remake of Jedi Sniper Dandin. Now I have made him with a new uniform to make himself different from the other generic Jedi Snipers. All of them hold their light sabers in a reverse grip to better their throwing skills. In this case, Jedi has a belt across his chest that holds several small light sabers called shotos. Those shotos are the same one Yoda and Ahsoka uses in battle. The primary purpose of a shoto in light saber combat was to counter attacks by an opponent's weapon while freeing the primary light saber for a return strike. To this end, shoto wielders were required to become proficient in the light saber techniques of Jar'Kai in order to reduce risk of injury to themselves due to the increased dexterity needed to master the use of both blades simultaneously. Masters of this technique could deliver a high number of attacks in a very short time, potentially overpowering opponents quickly rather than engaging in a protracted duel. Shotos were also used to counter lightwhips.

So Dandin has several of them for close combat. He also uses them like throwing knives, retrieving them with the force and then using them again.

A description of Jedi Sniper:
Jedi sniper was a term used by the Jedi Order to describe one of three Jedi-held ranks in the Coruscant Jedi Temple Security Force. Alongside the Gate Master and the brutes, snipers were the Temple's first line of defense from troublemakers, zealots, and rioters. They also fought alongside the Jedi Temple Guardians, who were the elite jedi.

When a Jedi Knight began their independent studies separate from their former Jedi Master, they had the option of choosing from three classes of Jedi: the Guardian, Consular, and Sentinel. A sniper of the Jedi Temple Security Force was a Guardian who pursued the specialization of Peacekeeper based on Coruscant.

Stationed on the parapets around the Temple Precinct, Temple snipers excelled at using their lightsabers as ranged weapons. Perfecting their telekinetic lightsaber forms, snipers were also highly acrobatic, capable of jumping, flipping, and running without the direct aid of the Force to propel themselves.

The snipers of the Temple defended it valiantly against Darth Vader and his army but were vastly outnumbered. By the end of the night, not a single sniper had survived the order.
