"Here! Dive in here!" Alice called out to Betty and Drusilla as the corridor passed an open door. The three Girls of Wonder rolled through the door and Alice slammed the palm of her hand on a large pad that caused a steel bulkhead door to slam shut, closing the entrance to the bay, and blocking the surging water for the moment from getting in. The three women lay on the ground for a moment, catching their breath, when up splashed the Minnow in the bay area. Katgirl flung open the Minnow's hatch and she bounded toward the Girls. She ran to Alice and grabbed her in arms to hug her. "Oh, I'm so glad you guys are safe!" Katgirl said. And when she was as emotional as she was then, her words sometimes were wrapped around low purring sounds; her rapidly waving tail also revealed her emotional state, as well as her feline DNA! "Gosh, you're hurting me, Kat!" Alice laughed. "Look, Kat, we have not time. We have to abandon this sinking ship before we get sucked into it." Alice warned. At that very moment, a loud grinding sound was heard, and with a jolt, the entire base lurched downward and to the left. As the Girls got to the Minnow, they could see that the bay was now cut off as the base began to sink into the ocean floor. "What do we do now?!" Betty asked. "I've got a plan!" Katgirl said. "Just get in!"
