Description
The Spider is a mysterious character often seen performing acts of vigilante justice around New Silk City. Despite having no wings and evidently not having performed metamorphosis, The Spider is able to spin silk like an adult Silkwing. In addition to this, The Spider seems to have a remarkable ability to climb up vertical walls and even stick to ceilings. He has used his abilities multiple times to perform many small acts of heroism against both petty thieves and major crime rings. His acts of heroism have, however, attracted some negative attention from the press, specifically from one Hivewing named J. Jasper Junebug who runs a paper called The Daily Blurb. J. Jasper Junebug is willing to do almost anything to put some dirt on The Spider so that his paper would become more successful. Despite J. Jasper Junebug's best efforts, though, most of New Silk City thinks well of The Spider. Who The Spider really is is unknown.
