Description                       A Girl Amongst the Words

A girl amongst the words shows no outwardly expression, her countenance stoic and never-changing despite the anarchy surrounding her. Poison-tipped words under the guise of words fly to and fro past her, their unforgiving blades piercing her to the core. Her composure is immaculate, flawless, though internally she is torn apart. She takes the wounds from both sides, their yelling injuring her more than the intended target of their hate.
Her expression is blank, wiped clear of all emotion, as her parents finish, too ravaged inwardly to breathe a sigh of relief.

                       A Girl Amongst the Tears

A girl amongst the tears wallows in a pool of her own, the torrents of salty water cascading from her eyes from her bloodshot eyes. She allows herself this brief moment of weakness, only this once, before she becomes indifferent once more. These moments of sorrow enrage her more so than comfort, because crying is for the weak; ones who carry emotions.
And she abandoned all feeling long ago.
Even so, she allows herself the few moments to weep, ready to be born anew by the useless tears that surround her.
              A Girl Amongst the Hurt
A girl amongst the hurt allows it to fall from her wrists in small glistening rubies. With each drop of blood a small weight is lifted, the hurt gone if for only a moment. Sometimes she feels weightless for a minute or two as the pain bleeds from her wrists.
And then she cuts again, deluding herself that all the blood is the hurt seeping out of her body, and she continues to cut, frivolously hoping that she may be weightless once again.
