Description
damn i'm just grinding zap gifs on adobe flash, aren't i ?anyways since Lurumilk (is this how you send a notification to someone?) requested me to make a zap art of my protogen sona zap-hugging him so here it is
now to the issue, which is i am not that good at art and i cannot draw hair that good and i can only properly draw furries the way i usually do
however since luru is more kemono-like (is this the right word?), it pretty much cancels out methods i usually use to draw furs so i had to guess like 95% of the time
drawing the hair is a real challenge, had to use many reference arts luru gave to me so i could use it to attempt drawing the hair
i intended to sketch and then do the lineart for the hair but the sketch itself was already confusing and hard enough for me that i ended up editing the sketch, remove the head guide thingy pixel by pixel and changing the alpha value, this kinda explains why the lines are thicker in this art as i pretty much have no choice other than to stick with it, hope things won't look too out of place
after ages of guessing, trial and error and experimenting, i finally nailed it, and by nailed it means the nail is literally bent in 90 degree as i don't even know what is happening or happened actually and i think it doesn't look that good in the end
but oh well, the experience was quite something
anyways beside all of that, this animation was made with adobe/macromedia flash 8 (2005), the drawings were entirely made with mouse
(in case anyone wanted to ask, i think i'm more familiar with using mouse as well as my stylus is starting to show its aging and slowly breaking down)
took me a few hours not including what happened mentioned above to finish this gif, lots of flash post-processing effects are used by the way like the shading
and like i said in the other flash animations i posted here, deviantart does not support flash anymore so i had to convert the flash animation file to a gif
used swivel to convert the .swf flash animation file into an .mp4 and used camtasia to convert the mp4 into a gif and fps corrected
anyways thanks for reading up to this point, hope the menacing amiga ball in the background helped you in making the experience better
technical details :
8 frames (12 fps [default flash fps])
1280x960 resolution (4:3, 1228800 pixels)
8 bit color depth
1,896 kb in size as gif; 609 kb as mp4; 39 kb as .swf flash animation file
(download the swf file here, remember that you need a flash projector to play/view it : sta.sh/0149f8q2e6sz )
