Description
I recently came up with an other Housepets character. Here's Solar, the cat who is the next door neighbor of Nadia in Babylon Gardens. Since I'm a sadistic jerk, who loves to torture his own characters, I gave him a not so happy story. But let's not waste the space here, story time incoming.
Solar has been adopted to the Benson family years ago, when they moved to Babylon Gardens. The Benson family already had a cat, a Russian Blue called Sonar. While Sonar and Solar were adoptive brothers, there was a huge age difference between, so Solar looked at Sonar as a father-figure instead of a brother. Solar was happy in his new home and managed to befriend some of the local cats, he became good friends with Maxwell, Marvin, Fiddler and Keys. But as years passed, Sonar got sick and lost his hearing, Solar took time to learn sign language, so they could still communicate. Solar decided to spend more time with his brother, especially after knowing that Sonar's condition will only become worse. Solar stayed on Sonar's side and at the same time he involuntarily ignored his friends' messages. After Sonar's passing, he realised that he has been ghosting his friends for months and that wrecked him. He didn't have the courage to reach out to his friends, he was afraid they hate him now for ignoring them for months. He barely ever left his home now, the previously happy, constantly singing cat became a nervous wreck. 6 months passed since Sonar's death when new neighbors moved in next door and Solar immediately noticed Nadia. The two neighbors became close friends and Solar started to feel better knowing that he isn't lonely now. And spoiler alert, but Nadia will have a key role in reuniting Solar with his old friends.
