yes, this is a real tattoo. that was debated in the comments so i figured i would clear it up here.this is on a client of mine named David. took 3 sittings if i remember correctly. in this photo, it is pretty much healed except for the whites and some final details in some darks. this is also his first tattoo. as you can imagine, he is a huge spiderman fan.

Ive seen this tattoo on the internet before and was unaware of the artist. Being a tattoo artist i can appreciate how difficult this piece must have been to execute. The color is packed in there flawlessly, and the subtle shadows used really create an optical illusion. Your machines must be running just the way your want them too, because the intensity of those values are incredible and the skin doesn't appear to be overworked at all. Just amazing!
