We later find out Gwen here is Spider-Woman and had training to fight mind control from heroes that were mind controlled in the past. Gwen's playing along to find out what Osborn is planning but mostly to have some sweet ass touching and kissing with MJ
I'm a bit fearful that Osborn going to do to hypno Gwen (for 616 Gwen the death or worse 'Sins Past'. I wished the 'dark secret' was instead that Gwen was 'unfaithful' to Peter 'cheating' on him after he abandoned her many times when danger was happening or on mid dates all while her rising urges that Peter was never able to satisfy due by never being there stirred up. When she needed some 'loving' she reached a breaking point forcing her to have sex with somebody powerful, wild, and knew how to satisfy her...MJ. When both was just too tired on waiting and fighting for Peter they help each other emotionally and sexually. Peter would be ok with that dark past and forgive her
