Just practice! It sounds cliche, but it's true. Oh, and draw stuff you like, and only draw for yourself, don't draw because of what other people want. I think following those ideas will help you improve the most.

Hello, thanks for the comment, I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I've never taken any formal art classes per se, but I do take an art course every summer, like a free-drawing session where you're provided all the materials and have no limits. Other than that, I suppose I'm self-taught.
