2 years ago to the day the project "moleskin" was started by Kai.S.The idea was to use the connected pages of the moleskin to create one large image. Every artist contributed one spreadpage and continued his picture on the following page with a few clue lines for the next artist. The next artist only got to see these lines and not the precedent pictures. After the first two images were done I took over the project from Kai and now in the beginning of 2009 the project was finally completed.

Very impressive. I especially enjoy the points at which the exaggerating style calms down a little to crystallise into almost great master-like moments of portrayal, such as in the case of the comparatively large head of possibly either Auberon or Lucyfere.

One of the best concepts I've seen so far, and you can tell from the sketches that the artists are talented. Very nice work !
