I like the lighting, the red of her nose, the way her lip pouts, etc... all very well rendered and overall a technical marvel. However, I can't help but feel that this piece could have much more power if her eyes and eyebrows showed more emotion. Her eyes seem to be just staring straight ahead. If I cover up the bottom half of her face, I feel no emotion whatsoever... If I cover up the eyes, though I feel that power 10 fold, imagining her lower lids half-closed and her eyebrows sweeping downward in a pitiful plea...
