This is how a childhood should be spent!! I wish I could give this freedom to my children, to explore and discover the vastness of the world and their own imagination.
I just read the second chapter and I loved it. Although, I was really angry at Jonas' father and also a bit sorry for him. He's in the middle of such a beautiful place with nature all around and what does he do? He hides inside a house and works. He's such a sad existence and really should take his son as an example and not the other way around. Really, what is all his work worth? Isn't it all pointless; for what is money if he can't even have a loving relationship with his son? It will never make him happy... Instead of playing with and getting to know his own son, he only focuses on Jonas' academic achievements. It really makes me wanna cry and scream at him that his dead wife wouldn't have wanted that.
But anyway, the art is breathtaking and totally stunning. The way you use colors is most impressive and I love how the background of your story always flows fluidly into the next sequence. Great story!
