Description
Early morning on the road next to my town. I was actually going home from a friends' wedding and saw fog gathering in the surrounding areas. Since I had my camera with me, I took a detour and decided to couple the wedding with an early morning photoshoot. Seeing the sight of this lone tree by the road, in this light, I didn't regret the decision one bit

Southwest Minnesota! Most of the stuff around here is pretty bland and the same because of all the corn fields/farm land. I suppose we do have some neat hills nearby but that's about it!

Hmmm, that's a problem I often feel is the same here... you pass a road a thousand times and it always looks the same old boring... then suddenly a scene like this surprises you
I guess it's more about being out at weird times (and having the camera always with you! something I'm guilty of not doing enough :S)

Don't worry, the advantage is you can always have it with you
(people with SLRs too often miss opportunities because of their gear being too heavy to carry around at all times)

That's true too. Yeah, that makes sense. I've heard some of it can be pretty heavy/bulky lol. I'll see if I can't take it around with me more often
