"Eddy Brock never wanted to be a villain, but when the gods of chaos took over, he needed power to defend himself and anyone else who needed a hero. With a focused pray and a lot of hope, he got what he wanted but not in the way he expected. With the evil intent to create more chaos, the gods gave Eddie what one would call a symbiote. A creature that feeds on Eddie own soul and magic energy, giving him the power to control shadows and pure darkness and turn himself into a hulking monster. For a long time, he thought he was doing the right thing, even if his power was also a curse, but the chaos gods know how to bring more suffering to the battlefield, and the name of that suffering was Cletus Cassidy, a former serial killer, and now, the monster made of blood known as Carnage. Carnage was a savage, killing and devouring his victims, becoming more and more powerful. Eddie would have no chance against him without a power up, and so, sacrifices needed to be made. The hero was now a villain, the hopeful man who wanted to protect others now devoured villains and his enemies to make the darkness inside more powerful, and Eddie Brock was now Venom."
