This is beautiful. Her face is masterfully done. I really like how her hair blends into the yellow and the red of her dress bleeds into red. Very nice. ^^

DanJacob, this is very well crafted. Semi Realistic and Artistically drawn....regardless of how you did it, I like it, its compositionally crafted and organized and a wonderful piece.

i think you got what you were going for with the hair... it would be really cool if you can get that with the whole body, where your not 100% sure where one part ends and the other begins. also, the boobs look a bit overly large as if she was wearing a super push up bra (where can i get one of those? 
this is a wonderful painting, i really like the colours and her expression as well as the brush work. keep it up

I think "trying to have non-objective patterning of colour emerge into something representational and have them coexist on the same plane of consistancy" is a pretty big ask and achieving it whilst simultaneously creating what is an outstandingly well-crafted painting must be near impossible.
This joins the ranks of those pieces I've seen on this site since I've joined that have seriously made me question why I paint at all, there have been only two other pieces which immediately spring to mind, which have evoked the same feeling in me, possibly three. It is undoubtedly the work of an exceptionally talented artist and I can't fault it.

This is an exquisite painting, and I personally think you did as good a job as you could of making the subject and the "background" appear on the same plain while still keeping the true form of the subject alive. I think this was beautifully done. Great work.
