I look forward to tag blacklisting, but you need to prioritize the issues people have been mentioning from the beginning. We need:
β’ A classic/middle mode: People have been trying to tell you, time and time again, that the day and night modes are too harsh on the eyes, so much so that it renders the site unusable for some.
β’ Pagination: I cannot brows art in any large quantities with eclipse without my browser crashing. This is a massive flaw and I'm still struggling to understand how it passed the alpha stage, let alone why people have to keep mentioning it now.
β’ HTML: You're taking away the only reason a lot of people pay for core, and giving the middle finger to countless custom content creators and commissioners. Stamps look terrible in the Eclipse layout because the thumbs (where are thumbs now, anyway?) don't sit together properly, and countless other resources are completely useless now. This is unacceptable.

For me HTML is especially key for journals, with them getting rid of stash writer and having this new stripped down journal editor, writing nice looking journals isn't really an option, everything is just very plain and basic, we can't even align text lol

Yes! It's the most vital part of customization and honestly just having a nice-looking layout for the pages/journals for so many people, to the point where DA (the current DA, at least) has an entire official gallery for it. Everything from little social media buttons to journal CSS are all going to be made useless with Eclipse if they don't add it before the final switch. Trying to get them to understand this over the past eight months has been an increasingly disheartening experience.

That's the biggest thing I don't get. Even if WIX has some unstated issue with people being able to customize their pages and they just don't care about their content creators or disabled population with the contrast, not being able to browse a website meant for displaying, browsing and finding artwork is just so fundamentally broken that it makes no sense, even from a heartless corporate perspective. Β

I'm a little bit anxious about watch recommendations excluding Deviants who haven't been active recently... How long is "recently"? My concern is that DA Eclipse will in this way turn a bit into the current InstaGram, where people considered inactive by the system are filtered out from browsing pages. This inactivity usually means that the artist doesn't upload art daily. Will this happen to DA too? Many artists I know only upload a few artworks per month, with the rule of quality over quantity. Would this be considered not active recently? Because that would massively impact how often and well their art is seen.Β
Just hoping that the new system doesn't imply that I have to upload stuff daily or even weekly, because there's many of us who simply can't do that.

It can be improved! I suggested a tag blacklist in the feedback form just for those as some fetish content are being in those recommendations for me. I understand where they come from though.
I'm still loving Eclipse so much more! I'm eager to see everything else you're all working on!
