You can think in an inverse way. Obviously this can be annoying to you as a user of this site. But think that EVERY web in ther WWW does it!! And they even tell you. So, this have benefits for the artist that want to profit with their works. I don't enter in the discussion of this is well or not, but installing some of those (adblock+ghostery+hosts file) you will browse the web better, not only in this site but in all.
