seriously, Pacifica hasn't even been back since Northwest Manor Noir. I saw her in the previews for the new episodes, and unlike Manly Dan who was at the ready to protect his kids, something tells me Preston and Priscilla are just gonna abandon Pacifica to save themselves.

Exactly. I feel as though Northwest Mansion Noir was just meant to resolve the conflict between the Pines twins and Pacifica before Ford came into the picture.
BTW, does anyone know exactly how many episodes are left this season, or if there will be a Season 3? Disney's calling the next episode "the final showdown", so...

with this being so different from the crappy shows Disney has and with how sensitive audiences are, I think the next episode may be it's last. Of course, that's what I fear with every new episode.

Well, that stinks. I only just got into Gravity Falls; I've been watching every episode in the series, trying to catch up, and it's incredible. It's sad to think it might all end here.
If the next episode is the end of the series, maybe they could eventually continue it with some kind of "Next Generation" spin-off? Maybe have a new Gravity Falls set 20 years in the future, where Dipper and Mabel run the Mystery Shack, Dipper's married to Wendy, and the new Mystery Twins are Dipper & Wendy's kids...
