Um, sorry to say this, but the 'other artist' was not having trouble, she had other more important things to do, such as school. It does not mean she was incapable of actually doing this title card, she simple wanted to take more time at it and also focus on her other engagements. It would have been nice to have asked her before jumping into the project without her consent since it was her assignment, not yours.
Just to point out that a bit of common courtesy can help you develop better teamwork skills and actually talking to the artists/people working on the project instead of surprising them can go a long way.

I was aware of that, I wasn't going to details and tell everybody her life and all that. I know it would have been nice, but it was like almost 6 months she waited to get the title card done.
I found out it was the lack of asking questions on all us. Half way done with the title card I ask if it was ok to finish, she was cool with it. Just found out today that she was hurt that I did it without asking her in the first place. So sorry for all the confusion going on about this Title card and hurting peoples feelings

Yes, but you have to realize, it was a REQUEST/TRADE not a commission or any of the sort, and she did not give her a time limit; she did not seem to be impatiently waiting to get it done, and if she did, she did not send the artist any messages telling her so. I know there has been a lack of communication(isn't that always the case?) and I know you mean no harm, neither do I; I believed if you had asked the artist BEFORE you did half of the work already(and by showing it , it intimdated her) I believe this inconvenience could have been avoided.
But yes, lets put this minor conflict behind us! Its done and overwith.
