I rarely write much about my photo subjects here, but I figured I might as well on this one. Vinnie is one of my best friends, my chosen family, and hands down my favorite person to photograph. We took a long road trip from Portland Oregon to La Crosse Wisconsin very recently and I only just returned to the Portland area a few days ago without him because he recently moved back to the Midwest where he was raised. We opted for a long route that took us through Utah where I took this picture. Vinnie moved to Chicago recently, which is what prompted us to take the road trip so we could have an especially good time before the next, because it's going to be a few months before we hang out again and I have really been missing him since the move. He means a lot to me, and I think (hope) it has always shown through my photos of him.
