Either self-made or purchased at tavern towns on roving ports, the selection of armor forged by any number of creatures means the looks of Divers, warriors, or soldiers on Surface is immensely varied. Armor can range from hand-crafted plate armor and chainlink/leather to fully-engineered aparatus' made by industrial forges at reputable guilds.

Matilda bought her armor set used and incomplete, which is totally fine considering berserkers do more damage the less they wear.
