Awesome art done for of her character Chaotic Starlight. First real meaty project done with paint tool SAI and incorporating the new Metropolitan plugin for city generation (Rendered the background in partial 3d and painted over it).
Time to call in the military because Starlight is pissed.
Had a ton of fun on this project. Sorry about the filesize download this time. It's larger than usual due to weird aspect ratio. Anyway, Enjoy!

I have to say that, while I have said this on some of your other animations, this is definitely one my favorite animations of yours that I have seen. I am probably going to say all of your animations are definitely my favorites out of all that I have seen.
What I particularly enjoy most out of this is particular animation is how well everything seems to go together despite all of the chaos going on in the background. The contrast between the lower section of the animation in comparison to the higher half is very well done, which allows the eye to be pulled downwards to Chaotic Starlight at the center, but also the contrast gives a sense of an imposing scale.
I remember you mentioned something that the spectrum of colors in the background were unintentional, but they definitely worked well with the whole composition.
The choice of music is fantastic, also.

glad you think its one of my best (while i definitely think its the most complicated small looping one). It is a very chaotic piece, and admittedly i was a bit worried as to if it was going too busy, but it seems to have worked out.
The spectrum of colors were partially intentiona, but got more vibrant as I made the work (used alot of pacific rim concept art as influence).
