Music: Cave of Life - Maplestory (per request)Very long overdue holofoil auction commission for and for their wonderful scarfox, Malifore. Got really backed up with school so I crunched most of it out this week xnx. This is my favorite statcard so far! Crystals YEAH!

Absolutely stunning! Everything is gorgeously painted and the animation of the character and background is on point. I seriously dig that particle movement of the dirt. It just all comes together perfectly

Ohhhhh My God Dan. I dont even know where to begin. Back during the time when you had started this, I would of never expected something SO GRAND. I remember when you were just fiddling with how to create the realistic crystals and even then that was simply astonishing. Walking through basically the entire progression of the art was truely an experience.
Every detail is just so spectacular.. from the sigil in the back, lighting up as Malifore runs by down to the grains of sand slipping away off the card itself I just.. I cant even begin to say how much detail is in all this even on the sides where the runic markings shine!.. In the front as well with all the lustrous gems and jewels so carelessly tossed in the sand, lost to all but Malifore and those he chooses worthy enough to see his treasures. I also really love the sound effects that you had put in. It really sounds like... Natural, listening to the crackles of the earth as the crystal shifts. Makes me think a bit to the sounds ice makes when it snaps of of glaciers but its so fitting here as well. The pitter patter of Mali running in the distance too... What caught me really off guard as I didnt even hear it the first time, was the soft chuffing of his breathing. That I was certainly not expecting... but god damn this character is ALIVE, BREATHING, CAPTURED. Like Im just utterly mind blown. His curious mischievous personality shows as he so carefully inspects his little treasure too. To put the icing on the cake... teh music... as I mentioned it had sentimental value to me as it was a song from when I used to play the game it was from. It played in the entrance to this beasts lair where I really wanted to go but It was only for players who were strong. Similarly to Mali, the unworthy people that go in never see the light of day again. But Im happy, as with effort I did get to go there and experience that place for myself and I am happy to hear the song again here, adding more to my character, molding him a bit more to who he is.
Thank you for this seriously. All your hard work radiates from this and shows so gracefully. Its probably one of the most intense artworks Ive ever gotten that looks absolutely stunning and gives me the feels about my childhood as well <3 So Once again, Thank you for bringing Sly and I's character to life <3

very late to respond (but I said alot of this on skype already). I'm really glad you like how it turned out and let me know when you get this printed (if you do before me anyway). I really wanted to make sure you and sly liked the final result. Malifore was amazing to draw, and the colors of this piece really were super fun to work with. I am sorry it took 2 months to work on T-T.
