Description
Whitehall is a small town with just under 6,000 residents. The Whitehall Rural Fire Department was formed after the Whitehall fire Department split into two as a result of a years long argument. It is responsible for the countryside surrounding Whitehall and runs mutual aid into the town itself when needed. It has a very large first due area with little to no hydranted areas. Tanker 1 carries 4,500 gallons of water and very little hose while Tanker 2 carries 3,000 gallons of water and a large amount of hose. Tanker 1 was purchased after Tanker 2 was put out of service for 3 years. The engine is mostly used for mutual aid or other incidents that do not involve fire suppression.
