Previous Archives Next When I first saw the game, I thought it was a bargain bin 7th gen game.
Then I realized it was too graphical to be a 7th gen game, so I figured it must've been an early 8th gen game, probably to show off the graphical capabilities of the console.
Then I saw the menus and realized that it must be a late 8th gen game.
I didn't realize they were still making original bargain bin games by that point.
Imagine my surprise when I learnt it was released the same week I was watching a let's play of it, and it was only for 9th gen consoles. (The thing is, that same let's player, does quite a few bargain bin 7th gen games, so that didn't help with my confusion.)
The best part is, I wasn't the only one who initially came to the conclusion that it was a bargain bin 7th gen game!
Immortals of Aveum may be a terribly mediocre game. But gosh darn it, we need more games exactly like it!
Screw Baldur's Gate 3, THIS should be the new standard.
