Description Jay and Symphony preparing to show off their stuff, Symphony wearing her show gear!

The drive seemed to pass in a blur, though Jay couldn't help but admire the scenery. They were further away from the city than he had originally anticipated, and the Canadian wilderness had a sort of ephemeral beauty to it, especially with a light speckling of snow that was falling from the sky. Thankfully the roads were clear, and they made it to the cattery without any issues. Symphony had once again dozed off in the back, but Jay knew this was normal. It was her way of storing energy for a very tiring day. They had arrived in time for the Korung check-in, which he completed and went to retrieve Symphony from the trailer. A smile crossed his face as he realized that this would be the first show he would get to use the custom tack he had made for her. A beautiful set calling back to his Asian ancestry and modern principles. The blue tassels fell around Symphony, highlighting the muscles in her body. The ones in the back cascaded around her tail, and were more free form, while the ones around her neck and on the halter were more resembling of the tassels on a rug. Still, the black, gold, and blue accentuated her red coat perfectly, and she seemed to radiate confidence and beauty. The last step, Jay slipped the saddle onto her back. The black leather with gold accents was the perfect finishing touch to this piece. Now, she was ready. They walked into the arena, and prepared for the first event of the day.

The event seemed to pass in a blur, but Symphony did well. She stacked herself properly for the judge, and managed to still show off her goofy personality when the judge turned his back by tapping Jay lightly on the leg with her paw when she noticed him zoning out. The results would only be announced at the end of the competition for every event at the same time, so Jay didn't gain anything by worrying about the results now. Competitions always seemed to move at a fast pace, and before he knew it, it was time for the dressage competition. For this, he would need to change clothes.
