This is the best version of this design so far. Adding some shading to the background you've spiced it up a bit, and that's nice. The skull looks cool, and adds a nice touch to the eq.
Now, for the complaints The main buttons still look too simple, and could use some more work. Eq's buttons look too bright don't know why. And you still need a new font for the timer.
Anyway, you're getting there Good job!
