Description
This is just a cropped stuff from my whole scene. This is still the WIP.I'm more happy with this cropped version that's why I'm not gonna post the whole scene.
I'm not used to create mecha and robotics thing, so maybe my rendering is still far away from what a metal should look like.
I'm still not happy with the color harmony. Maybe will do some tweaking and blending layer to get what is right.
Any Critics and input will be welcome.

You know, it reminds me a little bit of the Mother Computer, from Chrono Trigger. Not completely - there are differences, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it wasn't even an inspiration. But it's neat to see similarities in different expressions of an idea.

I think you did a wonderful job on the metal - the cold colors seem to add to the concept about bitterness and lack of life.
The two pipes on the sides also add to the story of this picture - I can picture a "Next....next..." kind of thing going on - where the life produced by the Robot isn't unique and just a derivative.
Great job overall, I can't wait to see the final version!

I agree - the geometrical 'incorrectness' gives the whole image a more unique take on the subject - giving it more of a comical look.

I found the picture awesome and great...
I think the color harmony is wonderful, because the metal look a little bit surreal or unreal and the scene or part with the human become more attention and an important expression!!!

Seeing the human hooked up to all those outlandish machines reminds me of The Matrix, except here the human is being created rather than being kept asleep in a dream world.
___About the artwork itself; I can't imagine how you portrayed such complexity in this machine, but it is truly astonishing and must have taken forever.

A large topic!
It is agitating that the "mother of creation" brings up so much attention to create a single human. I like the idea that a machine are able to have emotions, the word "mother..." implicates somehow emotions in our comprehension of the word "mother" which is a part of your works name. Would One not rather prefer a mass production, or do the shown human take a higher meaning in this scenario? Whereas it is recognizable that there is a assembly-line production.
But this is just my own interpretation.
I like the colours, but the colour transitions could be elaborated a bit more better. Like you say before, they are not harmonious enough. The hardware on those the "mother of creation" hangs confuse me. Their arrangement works somewhat two-dimensional.
However, a big compliment to the aesthetic realization, the style is wonderful, I like this work a lot.

Great stuff here, this is definitely something to be proud of imo! I see what you mean by the metal elements. I find what helps me paint/draw metal is to remember that metal reflects everything around it, and has abrupt value changes, usually these value changes are geometrical and exact rather than most other things that are organic and gradual.
