Darkness envelops, shadows creep,
In unseen corners secrets keep.
This tale unwinds the twisted thread,
Of shadow-fear, the unspoken dread.
The phobia of black unknown,
Grows like a seed in shadows sown.
In the somber abyss, unseen,
Dwell beings cruel, of vicious mien.
The ebony void, so deep, so vast,
Holds specters of a haunted past.
In silent whispers, chilling breeze,
They tell of pain and unease.
The inky cloak, it hides the fiends,
Who feed on mortal’s unseen means.
With every quiver, every shiver,
The shadows dance, the spirits quiver.
But lo! Within the daunting night,
A glimmer whispers of the light.
The shimmering rays of hope and might,
Can pierce the veil of fearsome fright.
To face the unseen, to fight the fear,
Requires a heart both true and clear.
With courage found in every breath,
One can defy the shadowed death.
So, remember well this echoing rhyme,
Of shadow-fear, of ancient time.
In every soul, the battle calls,
Against the shadows, against the falls.
Yet within each battling heart,
Lies the power to make dark depart.
For in the fight against the night,
Is found the everlasting light.
