Viola got out of the truck, Urie already at the trailer to let the two horses out. BDS had missed last year's Dance of the Roses, but they had done everything in their power to not miss it this year. They'd decided to bring along Rev, who was decently experienced in the show ring and used to the shounds. And with him, his mate, Float. Who was new to the ring and to BDS. He'd only been at the stable a few months, but had wanted to do the show with Rev. The two had fallen fast and hard for each other when Float was first brought home, and now they were simply inseprable.
"This is my first time here," Urie commented as she brushed down Rev and got the makeshift rose halter on him. Viola smiled.
"It's a nice event, very laid back," she commented. "CRS has been putting it on for a while now. We always try and come, but it isn't always possible."
Rev turned a bit to give Urie a soft bump on the theigh. Urie sighed softly and gave him a scratch behind the ear.
"Yeah, yeah, I know you and Glow will do fine," she huffed, a small smile creeping onto her face.

Watching and waiting was the hardest part for everyone, but it was finally time for Berry and Rev to have their turn in the ring. They entered the ring as the song began, their steps matching the opening. Each carrying the ribbon tied to the other in their mouths loosely.
I cannot breath without you right by me side, I'll die.
So can you please come over closer, hold me tight, right now.
As the lyrics started, they back away from each other, making the ribbon taunt. With the next line they came close to each other, circling each other with their noses touching each other.
No matter how har I try to escape, there's no answer.
Until I fall asleep in the sun, even deeper.
They dropped the ribbons and galloped from each other, to mimic the lyrics. Berry slid to a stop and turned around, eyes watch Rev on the other side of the arena closely. Rev, on the other hand was making his way around the arena towards Berry.
I really wanna know, yeah.
I've already lost control, oh.
Rev met with Berry again and the two made their way down the center of the arena, Berry grabbed Rev's ribbon in one quick motion.
I'm going crazy now, out of control, I'm staying up all night again.
The moment when I close my eyes, all I see is red lights
"Shh"
The two reared up when they got to the center of the area, Berry dropping the ribbon to get it slighty wrapped around Rev's front leg.
You know I can't leave you alone. You know I can't leave you alone.
The two dropped to the ground again, with Rev rearing up again. Berry circled around him, watching closely as he made a full turn. When the lyrics repeated, Berry reared up again, and the two mirrored each other's movements. Through the rest of the song, it became a push and pull for their moves.

Urie gave the pair pats as she rounded them up to take them back to the trailer, immensely proud of the pair. She was glad to have made this Berry's first show, especially since it was a pairs show, so he could do it with Rev.
