Description I felt like making more mountains and clouds. I have two other scenes like this in my gallery, but I like this one the best. The landscape render was done in Terragen 2 and the planet in the background was done in Vue 8 using a custom texture of my own. Photoshop CS5 was used to put it all together.

You know, a friend linked me to a similar space-space with Saturn magestically rising over the horizon in a distant land. And he asked me if that sight is actually known to be possible somewhere in our Solar System. Is it?

Thanks! That sight might be possible if viewed from one of Saturn's moons. I'm sure there are millions of planetary systems in our galaxy where similar views like that exist.

Fantastic image, maybe the sky could be a little darker and i find that the clouds in the top right are a bit of a distration.
