It's been so long since they last met. Her memories of her parents were so blurry, she struggled to recognize them. They, however, could immediately tell that was their daughter. Crush was struck with a weave of strong, somewhat confusing and contradictory emotions, it was unbearable.
She was glad to be able to see them again, but she wasn't expecting to meet their spirits. She couldn't believe it... that they were no longer alive. The idea of them being ghosts frightened her more than anything, which made it nearly impossible for her to enjoy the little get together.
Some additional details in case you're curious:
Her mother's eye and hair colors are the same as Crush's. She also inherited the need of glasses from her, but mama no like glasses.
Some of Crush's facial features and eye shape were inherited from her father.
