Because, in my head-canon, Elita-One and Optimus Prime acted as parents and guardians and trainers to the orphaned Arcee. So, the strawberry blonde Elita-One is tough and cool, but places one hand on the shoulder to reassure the nervous Princess Leia Arcee.Also, Elita-One and Optimus Prime are the only ones that get to wear gold Autobot symbols. Everybody else has to wear silver, and, they are fine with this arrangement...
