Mum’s friend died two days before Christmas. On the twenty-first of this month was her memorial. Denise loved sunsets, and so everybody watched the sun go down at Scarborough Beach from the lifesaving club.

Denise was sick, but she died very suddenly.

I wrote this:

Once the sun decides that it’s going to set, it does so quite swiftly,
There’s so many sunsets, as many as there are stars in the sky,
But, each sunset has it’s own unique qualities, that make it special to somebody,
And, it’s those memories that never fade from the mind . . .
