Shouts and Bouts of Laughter, Echo in my mind,
Memories of better times, and emotions hard to find,
Of happiness and laughter of banter and of care,
The times you helped me realize, life is a page left bare,
We choose our own direction, adrift in a raging sea,
Searching so hard for a guiding light, we miss all there is to see,
You've taught me to search the world, to seize what isn't given,
For the best things in life are free, If only we are driven,
to seek its bounty ever great, and never give up hope,
Joy comes to those who seek, not those who sit about and mope,
So while I sit here lost in thought, and moments very pensive,
I'll try to think of better times, and live life with your perspective.
