Description
"Beyond the Fields of Asphodel,where the souls wander in sorrow,
beyond the Acheron waters,
there I will wait for your return.
I walk away around shadows,
listening moans of pain and despair,
but the voices of thousand ghouls
will not ease your memory in my head.
And now that leaves fall around Earth,
a golden carpet will lead you to me.
And with the cold wind of the winter,
six pomegranate seeds do their duty.
Here, deep in the Underworld
you will find our ebony throne,
and your voice of promises and whishes
will bring life to the eternal dreamers."
My own version of Hades & Persephone. In the picture I portrayed they both, with Cerberus. At the left we can see Charon in his boat and the river Acheron, and in the other side the river Phlegethon, made of fire.

I love this! This picture reminds me of a story i wrote, and i dont care what you say people, it was NOT based of the story of hades and persphone!! I did not even know the story until awhile after i wrote my story!!

This is just beautiful, I love how you drew Cerberus, Hades, and Persephone. Great colors too and this is also my favorite myth. Speaking of Hades, I don't think he's demonic or evil like some other stories say and that Hades is Hellish, it's not, actually past the river Styx Hades is pretty nice.

Persephone is soo perfect...the wolves look so real and Ade's armor impressive..I love the Phlegethon too!! It sound weird but i've always found this story romantic although it seems tragic

Oh my gosh! My favorite myth! So beautifully done! I love how you added the flowers and leaves to her dress and hair. And the grass growing where she steps. A perfect touch since her mother is the goddess of plants and the harvest.
I'm also really glad that you portrayed Hades as a handsome man, instead of some grotesque-looking thing. He was a god just like the others and he must have been just as good looking as the rest.
