My flatmate Emilie (vet student, like me) took in a litter of three kittens this summer : people had brought them for euthanasia at the vet clinic where she was working.She quickly found two families for Gala's brothers... but her, the little black kitten was still "familyless". So we kept her at our flat until someone ask for the cute kitten. I would have love to adopt her, and so would Emilie, but we had already so many animals...
Two weeks later, she was still with us : she was really adorable... For one of our classes, we needed to bring animals (dogs and cats) to work on general medical examination, so Emilie thought we could bring her (we thought it was a good idea in order to see if she was in good health). And it was a good idea !
During the class, what a surprise to discover that our medecine professor was looking for a cat to adopt !
Two days ago, we had another class with her and our professor told Emilie that Gala is such an awesome cat... and I'm so glad of it, because with her destiny up to now, I think Gala is going to have a very good life.
I don't know what you think about this story... but please, if you found it pretty, I would like you to hear that :
Neuter your cats if you don't want to keep the litters and if you don't want to kill the babies and create pain. Gala is such a lucky kitten... so many others haven't had and won't ever have her chance. There are too many abandoned animals...

Aww she looks just like my cat, Momo! He was a stray too, and so his Mom. She was supposed to be a gift for my brother, but we found out she was pregnant. We kept her in the house until she had her litter, so we had to keep one of them! She was such a tiny cat, too and had 8 kittens in that litter! I definitely agree on the spay and neuter comment. I have so many strays running around my neighborhood it's not funny. I'm constantly having to give up cats to the spca and Humane Society; it breaks my heart!
