This relates to My SchoolED picture with the teacher. In this case, Rolf and Ezeke were given a take-home assignment. I ripped the question from one of my old health class assigments. (Those days...) I don't know whose house they went to. It's likely Rolf's -- Ezeke's eyes are uncovered.I am also referencing the season 5 episode, "I Am Curious-ED."
Somehow, that episode stood out to me. While Nazz laughed, Kevin lied, and Jonny tried teaching Jimmy and Sarah about birds, Rolf blatantly told them, "You are children. Go away." Thank you for saving their ears, Rolf. Thank you.

I just try not to think about Season 5 altogether, because it wasn't really as funny as the previous ones.
I like this though, Rolf and Ezeke are very cute with each other.

And that's true. Season 5 wasn't as funny as the others. I only liked three episodes out of that season. The others were... blah. "Pick an Ed," was my least favorite, while "I Am Curious Ed" and "All Eds Are Off" were alright. None were spectacular.
Altogether, though, S5 was not as good.

They also kinda messed up the characters a bit. What was Edd doing on the football team? Wasn't he exempt from Physical Education? Why was it that the kids all act highly of themselves with trying to state that Eddy trying to scam short change is evil but publicly humiliating him is perfectly okay? Heck, just ostracizing the Eds seems like the right thing to do with all of them, so why do the Eds bother trying to be accepted by the other kids when they're all just downright assholes to them? It just raises far too many questions.

I guess the writers did not go with the character profiles.
I remember that Edd was clearly exempt from Physical Education due to that dodgeball incident, which we never got to see and which I was interested in. -_-
Now that I think of it, the ending of BPS when the kids accepted him was cheesy and unlike them. X( I'd blame someone but I don't like naming people.
As far as the Eds being absolute outcasts and humiliating Eddy, I think the bullying went really, really far with it. In "A Town Called Ed," (I dislike this episode, too) they did not invite them to the Monster Truck viewing, publicly. Didn't Nazz invite them to that gymnastics shindig in "Rock-A-Bye Ed?" (Rock-A-Bye Ed was not Season 5, thank goodness!)
Maybe the writers just wanted to rush things along and end the series quickly, which I thought was dumb. I would take a season 6 over a movie any day, though that'll never happen. Too far gone.

Six months in development just for the characters, and they waste them. I see untapped potential, and that's why I insist on making fanfiction about them.
Yeah, plus HOW could he have met the qualifications of a football team? His body is weak, he has low stamina, and he has qualms about physical contact with people.
Here's my thinking on the ending of BPS: So the Eds are clearly horrible for trying to scam kids but Eddy's brother is a complete monster because he likes hurting people? Uh, what about the Kankers? Why was it that when the Kankers hurt the kids just because they liked to cause pain (complete monsters), the Eds would try to stand up to them, of course the Eds fail at that and the kids laugh at the Eds...even when they get hurt by them so why is it different when Eddy's brother does it? It makes no sense on many levels.
My blame goes to the newly hired storyboard artists (ESPECIALLY RAVEN MOLISEE) and writers. I figure Cartoon Network put them to work on the show to destroy it from the inside since there are no other explanation to why the show died after season 4. Four is death, indeed.
Exactly my thinking, why is it that Edd and Eddy want to be genuinely accepted by a bunch of kids who were complete jerks to them? I think the bullying went the farthest in "Smile for the Ed" where Kevin and the other kids just decide to be total (pardon my language) assholes to Eddy by not only sabotaging his school photo but PROCEED TO HUMILIATE HIM FURTHER by shoving the horrible photo in his face and then sabotage his photo AGAIN when he was going to have a retake. What the hell? Shouldn't they all get some sort of punishment for hazing? No, they just seem to do whatever they want because it's Eddy. What was the point of that episode? To show that everyone just hates Eddy and none of them have moral fiber when it comes to peer pressure? Where are the teachers and school administrators who would've normally SUSPENDED them all for HAZING?
My guess is that the writers were too inexperienced and really just didn't care (Antonucci wanted the show to be over, I hear he hated working on kid's shows. My guess is that he didn't have the stones to not make it JUST a kid's show). Heck, they even resorted to make episodes based off of fan-ideas. When it gets to that, you should know that your writing staff is having trouble with ideas and it's time to get their butts in gear.
