Description
We were taught, to tie our shoes, to comb our hair, to clean our room.We were taught, that bad guys always loose.
We know there's no secret there.
But what if we step out and assume, that the good ones always get hurt.. or will you deny that, too?
We were taught, to walk in single file.
Stand for the pledge, sing to the Anthem.
We were taught, that those who defile, are sick in the heads, but aren't you just like them?
Or are they, them, you, him, just like us? Aren't they the ones meant to defend?
We were taught, that lying was bad, that killing was wrong, that violence wasn't the answer.
Now we learn, they they're the ones defiling us, the ones lying to us, the ones killing us, the ones attacking us.
The ones who taught us how to dress, and tried to stress, all the rules they're now, turning against us.
So, why should I play fair, when they're, in their rich, government positions,
Lying through they're teeth to us?
As kids, we learned, all the skills they thought we should.
But what does that amount to now?
Should we do the things they thought we would,
While they make us bow,
At their feet, and then abandon us,
When their teachings aren't good enough?
