Cherry, the Devil's prankster granddaughter and the cutest grim reaper in Hell, is honestly just trying to have fun and make new friends. She loves everything about Hell - its burning landscapes, its horrific inhabitants, and especially her demonic mother and grandfather - but she's lonely. There's nobody to play with, and anyone who tries ends up being defenestrated or digested or otherwise destroyed.

There's only one mortal who Cherry thinks might be a good playmate: rock star and goth icon Briggy Bundy. The bad news is, he isn't dead...Yet.

I read Hellicious back in 2021, or was it in 2022? This comic was published in 2018, but it looks like it was published in the early 2000's. Anyways, I remembered that I wanted to draw fanart of this comic, but never got around to it for fear of fooling myself in front of everybody. But hey, I like this comic, I think it's cool, and I'm going out of my way to get it more noticed by other readers.

1. Cherry, the main protagonist, drawn how she is on the cover of issue 1. Cherry is surprisingly human for someone who was born in Hell. Although, in issue 2, a barbed devil tail popped out when Briggy Bundy picked her up, resulting in her emitting an ear-splitting scream that was heard throughout Hell.

She idolizes Briggy Bundy, heavy metal artist. Had him die before his time so she could bring him to Hell and make him her playmate.

2. Briggy Bundy. Heavy metal singer and songwriter. All of the things Cherry mentioned turned out to be fake. I guess it's true what the say; never meet your heroes. Flashbacks from issue 4 show Briggy grew up in a neglectful household, and as he got older he turned to heavy metal and all that Satanic imagery is just publicity. Deep down, he's actually a decent guy.

3. Sin. Cherry's mother, daughter of Satan. She thinks Cherry's got a long way to go before she can rule Hell. Is visited by an agent of Heaven to take Briggy Bundy to Heaven. Throughout issues 5 and 6, all of Heaven and Hell challenge each other over where Briggy Bundy will go.

There's mention of her having a brother, but I don't know who he is.

4. Agent. An agent of Heaven. Made her debut at the end of issue 3. Throughout issues 4, 5, and 6, all of Heaven and Hell challenge each other over where Briggy will go. In the end, Briggy chose to stay with Cherry, and the agent has to go through a detox before she could be an agent again.

I could've sworn she had a name. I just took to calling her agent.

5. Bone demon. They wander around Hell, looking for stray souls to feed to their king, a bigger, green-skinned bone demon. Just wanted to draw one.

6. Michael. Cherry's figurehead on her ferry boat. Was a con artist in life, as revealed by the Heaven Agent.

7. Like I always do, I throw in my characters to interact with the canon media characters. Cherry hugging Matt, that's the whole reason I made this sketchdump. Matt's trying with all his damnedest not to hit her. Chris on the other hand find it hilarious.

I'm pretty sure no one's heard of this comic before, but that's why I posted this picture. I plan on posting more of this comic when I can find the time.
