So, 14 years ago, in college, I was really inspired after re-watching Digimon Adventure 02 to draw this old deviation of Ichijoji Ken and Motomiya Daisuke playing soccer.It continues to haunt me to this day as one of my most popular deviations of all time and continues to get favourites, lol
I figured it was worth a redraw.
Instead of four days like last time, this time it took just over one. I could say that I at least improved in that area
It's been a while since I've tried to draw anything in anime style, and I think that this sort of ended up as a hybrid between anime and my own pseudo-realism style. I was also all over the place with shading in both the original and in here, so at least that's consistent lol

Oh and since I used Markhal's Foot Ball Stock for the original image, and used the original image as reference for this one, I should probably also tag them lol
