I absolutely love this shot. The sparks from I'm guessing a larger sparkler go in patterns in every direction and off of the bridge, making a silhouette. Fantastic! Also how long was the exposure?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

darkHunTer2009 In reply to Refreshing-Refrain [2012-01-06 00:47:13 +0000 UTC]

Thank you so much

But it's not a sparkler ... ahaha it#s some steel wool attached to the end of chain , with a make-shift cage i had to make

Exposure was 15 seconds

Refreshing-Refrain In reply to darkHunTer2009 [2012-01-06 00:55:33 +0000 UTC]

Ahh I see, how did that work?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

darkHunTer2009 In reply to Refreshing-Refrain [2012-01-06 00:56:37 +0000 UTC]

Bits of the steel wool that were on fire flew out of the cage , creating the flaying sparks

I don't think i will be making any more of these type of long eexposures :\ it's not really my style to repeat photos or effects

Really beautiful! I'm no critique nor photographer, so I won't make a proper critique, but I love the feeling of this explosion of light messing with the industrial rigidity and bringing life to it!
