Description
Once Upon time in the small town of Hay camp, South Dakota there was five really close friends. There names were Abigail, Teresa, Alice, Eliana, and Heather. Now for about a year now the girls were planning to go to Anime convention in Ashton, Colorado. Through doing her research the group leader, Abigail learned that it would be wise to make a sacrifice to the great otaku god Bill. So that night Teresa left some strawberry jam and a rubber chicken.  Eliana sleepily went over to Teresa and asked “why the Rubber chicken?” Teresa looked at Eliana “I was out of really chickens. I do hope this substitute will be ok.” She replied.
That same night the great Otaku god Bill came to collect the sacrifice. He first tasted the strawberry jam and a big smile came to his face since it was so yummy. Then Bill picked up the rubber chicken and he was not pleased. “How can these girls give me a sacrifice with a rubber chicken? What am I suppose to do with this?” said Bill. He was so upset he threw the Rubber Chicken on the ground and it made a funny squeaky sound. Bill looked at the rubber chicken and started to laugh. “Ah, I love a good laugh. I guess I will leave these girls with my blessing for the journey to come.” Bill said as he casted his blessing over the girls. With a snap of his fingers he disappeared into the night.
The next day the five girls got up and all piled into the van and headed of to Ashton, Colorado. It took them a good six hours to make it to Ashton, Colorado. As they pulled to the motel their eyes glisten at all the cosplayers that they saw. They quickly found a parking spot and went to the check in counter to get there room. After they checked into their room, they ran upstairs to change into their Juvenile Orion costumes. They emerged from there rooms in their Juvenile Orion costumes.  They hung around downstairs to stand in line for the costume contest.  As they waited in line some fans of Juvenile Orion took some pictures. A few hours and a couple pictures later, they finally all got signed up for the cosplay contest that would be held the next day.  After they signed up they took a quick glimpse into the dealers’ room and headed up to their room to get some sleep so they would be well rested for the next day.
Around 3pm the next day, they all got ready for the contest. Abigail was dressed up as Tohru Honda’s big poofy yellow dress from Fruits Basket. Teresa was dress up in a pretty pink kimono on that had a Hello Kitty pattern on it. On the back of Teresa’s Kimono was a pink bow with a Hello Kitty plushy. Alice was dressed up as Meru from Legend of dragoon. She had a blue almost swim suit outfit on with blue leggings and gloves and I blue tiara. On her back she had very sharp bluish set of wings on. Elianawas dressed up as Ritsu Sohma from Fruits Basket. Her costume was a light purple kimono with a dark purple obi that had blue dots on it. Last but not least was Heather. Heather was dress up as Shiina Yuya from Samurai Deeper Kyo.  Her costume also had the kimono style but it was almost a neon pink color with blue trim and green obi. At the end of the contest Teresa won Best Traditional Japanese clothing. After the contest they stayed up a little while for the J-rock dance but not too long for it was getting late.
The very next day the girls got dressed up in there Kaizoku Gothic Lolitas Pirates of the Caribbean. They paraded around in them for awhile at the con but soon realized that they need to head home to South Dakota. So they packed their bags and said goodbye to all the friends. After all the goodbyes they all piled back into the van for the trip home.
They rolled into Hay camp, South Dakota around 7:00pm that same day. They all were tired and as soon as they got home the girls took a long nap. Dreaming and remembering about all the fun they had in Ashton, Colorado.
