lawl XDDD. yeah, ikr, somedays, i just can't remember what i promised to draw orzlll, or what was the original purpose of some drawings that i had to halt halfway through....TvT aaaaargh!
...so i find it best to keep all roughs in the same place, with notes written behind them as reminder

Yeah! I remember one time I was drawing something, but the thing was I realized I didn't know exactly what it was I was supposed to be drawing! I think it was one of my actual characters (Not an OC for anything). Notes on the drafts...I tend to do that too sometimes

ah, i find erasing the notes in front to be a hassle, so in the end, this lazy bum wrote them at the back!

I only write on the front if there are too many mess-ups on the rough draft drawing, that's something you'd see in my older sketch books. Especially because I go back and look into those and make notes of what I should fix, and how each character should look now that my drawing style is totally different from back then... I think there's one where I did write on the front...but it was more like info, which I still do to this day.

oh i see. i usually only write in front of my drawings if it happens to be a correction i intend to do, or if i deem the drawing too far gone to be saved. thereby it becomes the '1st rough', and i redrew everything to make them look better XD

I once had someone look over my shoulder while I was drawing...I didn't know they were there until the spoke up saying "Aww, that's so cute!" I...honestly saw nothing cute about a badly drawn picture where a girl got her heart broken...really, nothing. at. all.

I think fanart helps you get better at drawing mostly because you want to get the characters just right...and then you add what you learn from the the characters you already have :3

I'm always drawing my favorite character first, so when I finally started drawing D. Gray-man characters I started by drawing the ever so cute, and innocent looking Moyashi-chan! -clears throat- excuse me, Allen!
Allen's my first favorite character, BUT I have a crush on Kanda, who is my third favorite character Lavi is second, Lenalee is fourth...hmm...come to think of it, I seem to have separate lists for this fandom...
