Well in the space of an Hour and a half since I uploaded my trial run planet picture.. I went back to Adobe and did it again while modifying everything into my own techniques and basicly winging it.. and turned out this stunner!Now hows that for photoshop art?

Love this! The reflection off the water/ive really gives it that three-dimensional feel. It looks like I could reach into my screen and actually feel the ridges of the land.

Maybe if I printed this one out and claimed to randoms it was my home planet it would be a tad more believable than the other one.
