Description
Here are the brushes I created for Clip Studio Paint also known as Manga Studio 5. They are divided in 6 categories.Strokes category for general painting brushes with some texture to them. Character brushes for painting skin, hair and fur. Effects brushes for painting weather elements, lighting artifacts and similar stuff. Grunge brushes to easily rough up painted surfaces. Nature brushes for leafs and grass. Decorative brushes for clothing wrinkles, pattern strips and objects.
Brushes are free for personal and commercial work. Do not resell them as this is a free brush pack.
Hope you find them useful.
To install:
Unzip the brush pack somewhere on your hard drive. Brushes are unziped .sut files. In Manga studio in the upper left corner of Sub Tool palette there is a button that opens a drop down list. In this list there is Import sub tool option. Click it and navigate to any .sut file. Β Alternatively, you can just drag and drop any .sut file (or many at once) from your file browser to empty space in Sub tool palette.

Glad you like the brushes. There is no way to change the rope color directly. You could draw on a new layer and change it using hue saturation or curves or some other color changing method. Alternatively you could extract the brush tip of rope brush, convert it to gray-scale layer and register the new gray-scale image as new brush tip. Then you could change colors the same way as any other brush, using primary and secondary swatches to define color of highlights and shadows on the brush.

Sorry to hear that, I really don't have idea what may cause that. Maybe someone here on deviant art who is more technically savvy can offer an advice.

Thank you very much, friend. How did you create them?
I was thinking of creating my own Hatching and Crosshatching brushes.

Clip studio paint is very powerful when it comes to building your own brushes but that power comes with a need to learn how to use quite a few panels in brush options. I don't have a quick way of explaining the creation process as it is a bit different each time depending on the brush. User manual was always a good friend figuring things out when I was learning how to do it. I am planing to do some video tutorials that will explain brush creation in detail, but since my schedule is so hectic lately I doubt that I will find time to record them any time soon.
