Still in future/sci-fi mode but decided to do a regular portrait with one of my favorite characters and textures.Thanks for looking..sorry about the watermark but I'd hate to see this floating about.

I wish I hadn't had to watermark it too but I'm a lot more protective of certain images than others

There are just oodles of free stuff out there that you can use to get your feet wet...check DAZ and Renderosity and Runtime DNA for starters.

Thank you very much...unfortunately this is pretty much a trial and error thing for me. I use Poser but you can download a program called DAZ Studio that's very similar for free at [link] if you'd like to give it a try.

OMG!! I totally understand now how and why this got a DD! An amazing work, jan, I'm truly blown away. Extra-ordinary concept, and your own natural talent for portraits - what a combination!

Thanks sis...this really was just a simple portriat idea but somehow the filters I used gave her such a soft look and really brought out her eyes..she simply took a life of her own and I'm so grateful to have her acknowledged with the DD.
