I had heard a rumor she will either be in the last installment of the Force Awakens (as Snoke's Master) and make a cameo in Star Wars Rebels cartoon... I hope this is true! But I heard she belongs in "Legends" and NOT canon anymore, so who knows???

Technically not the Dark Side, but Chaos. 
Her power comes from both the Dark and the Light.

That "canon" picture is of her using Callista Ming's body to fight the Jedi and Sith. So really it's not even her. This is such a SICK picture of her. Love it.

Thanks - with drawing Abeloth, we have to keep in mind that she's a shape shifter. Even the best "Canon" picture of her (the one where she's fighting the Sith & the Jedi) she's not depicted in the same way as the books describe. Example (where is here gigantic grin?)

Each novel describes her slightly different as well.

The thing is, she shape shifts a whole lot, and this is why I depict her so differently, too. The links to my 5 Abeloth efforts are below. As well as to my popular "Force Flows" story which revolves around Abeloth, here, in our universe.

Holy Crap! That is terrifying! But I love it, that would be what she really looks like. Also I agree with the earlier comment. This is much much better than the crappy little cartoon on wookipedia. Again, love it.
