"PLEASE stop wearing Che Guevara Shirts!"Che Guevara was NOT a hero!
The first thing I want to address about this narcissistic coward, is his silly statement: “…In fact, if Christ himself stood in my way, I, like Nietzsche, would not hesitate to squish him like a worm.”
First off, Jesus in real life, was a carpenter and stone mason for the majority of his life, and seen the injustice that Rome oppressed his own people with first hand and many others, all his life.
This means Jesus was angry at oppression and dictators THOUSANDS of years before this clown was even born!
To take better cite of, as a carpenter and stone mason, Jesus was no doubt very physically strong, coupled with being oppressed by the Romans on a daily life basis, Christ would have been a very tough person; and most probably would have kicked the dog-sh*t out this asthma-plagued big mouth in a matter of minutes!
-- And as far as this fool Nietzsche, he is not the father of existentialism, which actually means exploring the meaning of life and its purpose - he is the father of "Nihilism", which thousands, if not millions, of depressed people kill themselves over, when they mind-loop the dumb notion that life has no meaning!
Obviously, if you compare Jesus Christ, as a revolutionary to Che Guevara, it's monumentally and overwhelmingly a landslide, as to whom TRULY is the hero of revolution.
Christ rebelled against ROME, the greatest political and military force on earth, and through his predetermined death, he not only defeated, but converted them to Christianity later.
Meaning that the very EMPIRE that killed him, would later WORSHIP him!
...And all this, WITHOUT KILLING even one person!!!
In contrast, Che Guevara was only successful in one so-called revolution when it came to Cuba, and this with lots of help from others that did so, through the murder and bloodshed of hundreds upon hundreds of people, including innocent women and children that had no part in ANY revolution!
He FAILED miserably in Africa and South America, where he was caught, and killed, and begged for his life; saying; "his life was more valuable alive than dead", meaning he was depending on his FAME to save his life - which ironically is the very opposite of Jesus, who gave his life willingly, so much so, that even political leaders, such as King Herod and the Roman Pilot were genuinely confused over it.
So who do you think is truly the master of revolution now?!
Che Guevara also imprisoned and killed priests that dedicated their lives to helping the sick and poor, and as an atheist, he relished in it!
He also did the same for any homosexuals and lesbians, REGULARY!
Che absolutely despised Gay people and he tortured and imprisoned MANY of them, anywhere he had a hand in power!
This is an odd thing, since so many NONBINARY people today, use him as a symbol of revolution, not knowing that Che would have instantly imprisoned and KILLED them, due their modern gender views!
Che started off as a medial student, who never got the full title of a doctor and in fact, was reported to be a very poor physician by many, and never got a license, nor has any PROOF at all that he ever achieved being certified as a doctor!
He was essentially wealthy as well, and this gave him time as a youth to study, unfortunately studying a lot of political theories that advocated the notion that innocent "casualties of war" were acceptable as long as the cause's goals were met. I.E. such as Marxism and more.
He did start off with very positive ideas about activism and helping the poor and sick - this most notable during his youth, but when he became radicalized, all that became an excuse to promote terror in the name of so-called revolutionary causes.
This major transformation from peaceful activist to violent rebel rousing is what did him in.
Keep in mind, as a physician he once vowed the Hippocratic oath "Do No Harm", yet dropped this as he got into ever more extremism.
And this long road not only got himself killed, but got countless innocent people murdered in the process.
He was also a man who loved his fame and popularity while he was alive and many pointed to his egocentric narcissism as a major catalyst to his violent and unsympathetic views to others.
It should be learned and studied, as to how an initially good person with good intentions and beliefs, became radicalized and indoctrinated into a terrorist!
Learning how this transformation took place could help many in learning what NOT to do or follow to ensure peaceful activism rules over violent revolution.
Last year I was at the "Taking it to the Streets" festival at Marquette Park. There I noticed lots of people buying Che Guevara shirts.
Just to appease my curiosity, I asked some of these people a few things about Che Guevara.
And All - not some, but ALL of the people I asked things about Che Guevara, had no idea of the man's history!
Some even thought he was Mexican! LOL
They were buying the shirts, because they seen this iconic rebel-logo of his face and simply thought it was cool. LOL
This once good-hearted doctor became a revolutionary mercenary - this means he got PAID to fight for causes - yes -even causes he did not believe in!
Imagine if your family doctor told you that he didn't agree with the republican party - then actually made a group NOT to DEBATE or protest them, but to actually KILL them!
Would you still respect your doctor?!
No? Then don't respect Che Guevara! it is the same thing!
His so called philosophy is very similar to Timothy McVeigh's. Would you wear a Timothy McVeigh shirt!?
The TRUTH is when I see young people wearing a Che shirt, I know why...Because they think it symbolizes fighting for what is right. As if he symbolized something cool and righteous...
Make no mistake about it, he did not!
He fought for MONEY, under the guise as a guerrilla warfare trainer.
He also taught people fighting other causes not related to Cuba - such as how to murder and use - yes, use INNOCENT people as bait and leverage. INNOCENT people - meaning women and children and people who had nothing to do with warfare!
He bombarded regular passenger trains - murdered women and children and other folks who had nothing to do with war or politics!
This guy was a terrorist piece of shit!!!
There are plenty of other TRUE non-violent activists who gave their life for unity and peace. I.E - Gandhi and Martin Luther King among many more...
Please consider wearing one of their shirts rather than this self-centered narcissistic murdering asshole!
Ultimately, we need to remember this one notion that bears the inconvenient TRUTH about real revolution, and that is -
"To fix the injustices of people oppressed, you can NOT resort to just killing them in order to do so; if so, you become just like them.
Instead, you must be smart, talented, and brave enough to risk ONLY YOUR life into transforming enough of them to your cause, making them more like YOU, rather than you becoming more like THEM!
